I love crime and thriller fiction by authors like James Becker and Patricia Cornwell, i am also interested in reading about true crime, history, art, music, biographies... anything I can get my hands on, really! Sarah Waters is my favourite author (especially Fingersmith and Affinity), I really wish that she would write some more moody Victorian sagas. Other fave novels of mine include The price Of Salt by Patricia Highsmith, Maurice by EM Forster, The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty, The Omen by David Seltzer, Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin, Interview Dracula by Bram Stoker, With The Vampire by Anne Rice and We Need To Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver.
Italian, American, traditional English and Irish dishes. I'm not that adventurous when it comes to food!
I generally dress quite comfortably and casually and am not a big fan of wearing a lot of make-up. I have chin-length wavy fair hair, green eyes and freckles.
I love a good laugh, and usually have a good old chuckle every day about something or other! My own sense of humor is admittedly a bit weird and can be dark at times... having said that, even the trashiest gross-out comedies make me laugh (Big Momma's House, Nutty professor, White Chicks, Scary Movies are just some of my guilty pleasures) so my sense of humor must also be pretty basic!
I love drawing, art, museums, galleries, history, reading, listening to music, watching films (especially horror and retro), going for long walks, nature, animals, crosswords and spending time with friends and family.
I love nothing more than exploring new places and soaking up the culture. I've travelled to France, Italy, Portugal, Denmark, Hungary and Morocco over the years but would love to travel more!
It really depends, there are so many ways!
Easy-going, happy, creative, genuine... I can be a bit shy at first but that will change once I get to know you!
Someone kind, down-to-earth and genuine.
